Free Internet for a year contest!
October 14, 2009 – 3:38 pm by Augie SchwerFor the next fifteen days we will be running a contest on Twitter where we will give away free Internet service for a year!
We will give away one year of free Internet service (traditional AT&T line shared DSL as fast as we can, or Fusion at up to 30mbps, CA only) every day for 15 days to celebrate our 15th anniversary.
The contest will be run over Twitter, entrants have to use the hashtag #sonicnet .
One entry will be chosen at random every day for fifteen days from the mentions of #sonicnet during the past day. Each mention is an entry, but please don’t over-tweet, spammers won’t be winners.
One win per person, win is transferable if you’re in an area we do not serve (you are welcome to give it away or sell it).

I am always up for a contest…but is there any way to enter besides using Twitter?

John,
What do you suggest?
Twitter was easy for us to use to get the whole thing rolling and gives us some pretty nice free publicity.

Never mind…it is not that important. Maybe I need to get with the modern world and join Twitter, although I have no absolutely no need to do so. In fact, I don’t even see the need/appeal for Twitter or Facebook. Obviously much of the world sees things differently from my 50+ year old perspective.

I concur with the previous comments about not requiring use of Twitter… It’s not just 50+ year olds.

for coming so highly recommended, #Sonic.Net has been nothing but incorrect overcharges and long waits on the phone. Pfft, I want noodles.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Happy 15 years! I hope the contest is as good to you as it has been to me. Looking forward to being a customer for years!
