New email Member Tools released today
August 27, 2008 – 4:40 pm by DianneWe deployed the email portion of our New Member Tool suite this morning. Significant improvements have been made, particularly in the following tools:
- Graymail now features improved searching, sorting, and best of all, we’ve FINALLY added a message preview feature! Check it out at https://members.sonic.net/email/graymail.
- Our Spam Filtering Configuration tools have been rewritten from the ground up to be easier and more intuitive to use. They’re available at https://members.sonic.net/email/spam.

There seems to be a small bug in the display of graymail. The message count in the upper right corner is displaying something like “54 to 354 of 354″. Since I was displaying only 10 at a time, the correct display should be something like “54 to 63 of 354″. I suspect the wrong value is being plugged in.

I’ll have the programming department check this out. I don’t have enough in my graymail to really effectively duplicate this.

Whoops! Yep, there’s definitely something wrong there. Thanks for the heads-up, William. I’ll get it fixed, though probably not until Tuesday because of the long weekend.
