E-mail service interuption.

August 28, 2009 – 4:08 pm by Augie Schwer

For about an hour this afternoon SSL connections to our POP servers (pop.sonic.net) were unavailable; we have remedied the problem and are investigating the cause.

During this time non-SSL connections to pop.sonic.net still worked, and both SSL and non-SSL connections to our IMAP cluster (imap.sonic.net) were unaffected.

  2. IMAP outgoing not working on one of my Sonic email accounts. Have tried it on 3 devices. All will not get IMAP mail. However the other Sonic IMAP account I have is working correctly.

I have deleted the account in my client and re-installed it to no avail.
