Tonight, April 11th, starting at 11:59PM, we will be performing maintenance on some of our backbone infrastructure in the San Jose area. Customers may experience brief routing changes but we do not expect any lasting impact.

At 3:48PM this afternoon, an aggregation circuit serving Fiber DIA customers in northern California experienced a short outage. The issue was quickly diagnosed and connectivity was restored at 3:57PM. A DHCP server has failed that serves a subset of legacy dsl customers in the LA area. We are currently working on re-routing its DHCP traffic to a backup server.

Update: Traffic has been re-routed and affected customers should be receiving new leases at this point.

At about 3:25PM today we detected a routing issue with an upstream provider that was causing network reachability issues for our users. We have rerouted around the issue and are closely monitoring the situation. As of 3:35PM all connectivity should be restored.

A failing ATM port was identified in our network earlier this morning. This port caused a couple of brief outages for a small subset of customers in the bay area. All affected circuits have now been moved off the failing port.
