Sun Jun 11 11:34:49 PDT 2000 — We tracked the slowdowns for web and mail back to the file server, ‘freezer’. It turns out that the Ethernet connection had misnegotiated: ‘freezer’ was running 100 megabit full-duplex, but the switch was only running 100 megabit half-duplex.
