Mail service disruption

At ~2:30pm this afternoon our mail cluster began to experience instability due to an applied security update. As of 3 pm the service is back up and running, and users should be able to log in to POP3 and IMAP services.

New GHOST vulnerability

We are currently applying patches and rebooting selected systems that are affected by the GHOST vulnerability announced earlier today (CVE-2015-0235.)  A few services may be briefly unavailable as the systems handling them are taken care of.  If you maintain linux systems, be sure to check for and apply any updates to glibc!  -Kelsey

Fusion/FlexLink Intrusive Maintenance

Update (12:50AM): This maintenance is now complete.

Beginning tonight at midnight I will be performing maintenance on equipment that serves Fusion and FlexLink customers in most East/South Bay and Peninsula cities. Expected downtime is around 20 minutes.

Server maintenance

UPDATE: Maintenance complete.

At 11:59pm we will be performing updates on our database cluster. This will result in a momentary interruption to our hosted customer databases, and some of our customer facing tools.

Legacy DSL Outage

Update (9:35AM): A temporary work around is currently in place. Users will notice another brief outage before we can resolve the issue completely.

A portion of legacy dsl customers in Northern California are offline this morning due to an atm port failure in our network. We are working on moving customers off the affected port asap.

Non-intrusive Voice Maintenance – Sunday 1/11/15

Sunday 1/11/2015 at 10PM PST we will be performing non-intrusive voice network maintenance on equipment in Santa Rosa that serves large areas of our network. This maintenance should not affect customers at all. This maintenance is expected to last 10-20 minutes.

Beginning tonight at midnight I will be doing maintenance on equipment serving a small subset of customers in both the Santa Rosa and San Francisco areas. Expected downtime is about 15 minutes.
